I titled this post that way for a reason. Well, two reasons actually. This spoken word piece by Odd Thomas entitled The Incarnation made the rounds on social media sites before Christmas. In case you missed seeing it, here it is.
The second reason is this, in case you went through Christmas and didn't stop and think of the magnitude of what it all meant. Sure, everyone can think of a sweet baby in a manger with shepherds bending their knees, wise men presenting gifts and angels singing in the heavens. But what does it all mean? Why the Incarnation? Why did the God who made man become God and man, in One? Why did this little innocent baby asleep on the hay come to Earth to die? That's the most important reason ... in case you missed it.
